2007 Eukanuba Invitational
Meet The Breeds Booth...
Group 1 !

Many thanks to those who made it a reality. Mary Jo and Steve Blaze, Meredith Langston and Shelly Campbell came up and helped Friday and Saturday, and Shelly gave us a nice break from booth duty with dogs on Sunday. Jim & Kathy Corbett came up and helped Sunday, and David's son Brian and his girlfriend helped with the tear down. David went out to California with Kim to run whatever errands she needed and build the frame-- and he was our hunter prop in the booth.

Kim's talent is amazing. Of course pictures don't do the booth justice. It was a powerful statement when one walked into the room. The booth towered over everything at 12' high. The roof was the night sky, complete with a full moon. The back of the booth was the forest centered with a huge tree. In the center a "fire" was "burning" and there was a huge owl in the background. On the table a mamma raccoon and its baby were holding a big barrel that held the brochures. Kim also made a lovely movie with old pictures of black & tans, puppy pictures and paragraphs talking about the history of our breed. The music in the background was the sounds of a Mississippi forest, complete with crickets and an owl hooting. Every now and then the forest would hush for the bay of a hound. Speakers were set up around the booth so that the sound was filling the booth. We had so many of our fellow booth builders compliment us on the reality of the picture presented. Kim did an incredible job and please take the time to thank her for sharing her talent with us.
