AMERICAN BLACK AND TAN COONHOUND CLUB AWARDS
The following awards will be presented on a yearly basis at the annual meeting.

Top B&T Coonhound for 20___

a. based on number of dogs defeated
b. counted during the calendar year from AKC Gazette
c. presented to owner(s) of the dog, who must be an AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and at date of presentation

Most Best of Breed Won in 20___

a. based on B&T Coonhounds defeated in Best of Breed competition, only the Best of Breed winner will receive points
b. counted during the calendar year from AKC Gazette
c. presented to owner(s) of the dog, who must be an AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and at date of presentation

Most B&T’s Defeated – BOB/BOS

a. based on number of B&T’s defeated in Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex competition, both the Best of Breed and Best of Opposite Sex winners will receive points
b. counted during the calendar year from AKC Gazette
c. awards will be presented to the top 10 dogs belonging to members only.
d. presented to owner(s) of the dog, who must be an AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and at date of presentation

Sire of Merit Certificate

a. based on production of ten (10) AKC Champions
b. counted without time limit from AKC Gazette
c. must be applied for by owner (must be AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and at date of presentation)

Dam of Merit Certificate

a. based on production of four (4) AKC Champions
b. counted without time limit from AKC Gazette
c. must be applied for by owner (must be AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and at date of presentation)

AB&TCC Certificate of Merit

a. based on completion of AKC Championship, AKC Obedience Degree, AKC
Tracking Degree
b. must be applied for by owner(s) who must be an AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and at the date of presentation

Register of Merit (established August 1991)

a. based on achievement of three (3) of the following four titles:
1. an AKC Championship
2. an AKC Obedience Title
3. an AKC Tracking Title
4. an AB&TCC Sire or Dam of Merit Certificate
b. title may be earned in any sequence without time limit
c. must be applied for by owner, copies of certificates of earned title must accompany application
d. owner must be an AB&TCC member at some point during the year earned and time of presentation

Top Obedience Dog Award

a. based on AB&TCC schedule of points based on qualifying score taken from AKC Gazette
b. schedule of points as follows:
